- Accumulator
- A bet that links multiple selections together; all of them must win for the bet to pay out.
- AML
- Anti-Money Laundering – a set of regulations and procedures designed to detect and prevent illegal money flow in betting.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap that gives one team a fictional advantage or disadvantage to eliminate the draw and make odds closer to 50/50.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money you set aside for placing bets.
- Bet Builder
- A tool that lets you combine different markets from a single match into one custom bet.
- Both Teams To Score (BTTS)
- A market where you bet on whether each team will score at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- An option to settle a bet early, locking in a profit or cutting a loss before the event ends.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes, such as a team winning or the match drawing, in a single match.
- Draw No Bet
- A bet that refunds your stake if the match ends in a draw.
- Each-Way
- A two-part bet where you back a team to win and also to finish in a paid place, typically top spots.
- Expected Goals (xG)
- A metric that estimates how many goals a team is likely to score based on the quality of its chances.
- Goal Line
- A line set by the bookmaker indicating the total number of goals expected; you bet over or under that line.
- In-Play
- Bets placed after the match has started, with odds that update as the game unfolds.
- KYC
- Know Your Customer – a process where the bookmaker verifies your identity to prevent fraud and ensure legal compliance.
- Lay
- To bet against a particular outcome, acting essentially as the bookmaker would.
- Margin
- The bookmaker’s built-in profit margin included in the odds, expressed as a percentage.
- Odds
- The number that reflects how likely an outcome is and determines how much you can win.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether a specific statistic, such as total goals, will be above or below a set value.
- Payout
- The total amount of money returned to you after a winning bet, including your stake and profit.
- Push
- A tie result where the bet is declared void and your stake is refunded.
- Rollover
- A requirement to wager a certain amount before you can withdraw bonus funds.
- Self-Exclusion
- A facility that lets you temporarily or permanently block your own account to help control gambling activity.
- Stake
- The amount of money you risk on a bet.
- System Bet
- A bet that covers multiple combinations of your selections, allowing some of them to lose and still pay out.
- Value Bet
- A bet where the odds offered are higher than the true probability of the outcome, giving you an edge.
